Google Talk - "Show current music track"
I've been an avid winamp user since it's version 1. Since version 5.5 Google's chat client, "Google Talk" has had a bug when setting your away message to "Show current music track". Here's how to fix this bug on your pc until either party find and rebuild the fix.
If you don't have this combonation of chat and music clients then disregard this small amount of tech talk.
- Navigate to your winamp's root directory
- "C:\Program Files\Winamp" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Winamp"
- Create a new text file
- Rename the file to "winamp.m3u"
- make sure you can view and make changes to the file extension, if not you will need to uncheck hide file extensions in Tools > options
- Restart Google talk and winamp and enjoy

Wow! Amazing that something so simple could cause so much grief. Good on you, mate, for making my day much less frustrating.
